《张子正蒙注》是王夫之的主要哲学著作之一。他通过为张载的《正蒙》一书作注解的形式，继承和发展了张载的朴素唯物主义思想。《正蒙》是张载主要的著作。他的哲学思想的精粹，具体表现在这部著作里。朱熹曾经给这书做过注解，名《正蒙解》，虽然也表示推崇，大部分却把他的理论歪曲了。后来做注的，明朝有高攀龙、陈伯达，清朝有李光地、冉觐祖、张伯行、王植等，都不及王夫之所注的。王夫之的这部《张子正蒙注》，不但充分阐明作者的思想，更进一步发展了张载哲学，而且对于原著上有些观点表示不同的见解，对于字句的错误也作了不少的校正。《张子正蒙注》曾于一九五六年九月出版，由古籍出版社据太平洋书店本排印。现在改用一八六五年金陵刊刻的《船山遗书》为底本，重新校勘标点。《正蒙》原文与明万历年间陕西凤翔府官刻本的清初
