This is more of a magazine that you would see at the checkout stand at Walmart. It is not a book per se, it's 96 pages. It's stapled together and my brand new copy is already coming apart. This was previously published in 2004 as part of a larger volume, Perfect Party Food Made Simple to include the same pictures. If I had known that I would not have purchased this book, I own that one. This had a publication date of 2009, so I'm thinking it's all new stuff from Ms. Jones, whose entertaining books I love. How disappointing. It's not worth sending back because of the return shipping charges. The pictures actually look like reprints from some of her first books in 1995. They're very dated. And if that's not bad enough, most of the recipes and pictures are the exact same ones from Perfect Party Planner. And aside from some rearranging it looks like the same book just with a different cover. Her spicy potato wedges I have made many times, they are quite tasty with the combination of garlic, allspice, coriander
